Trainee Welder Fabricator - Witham - Full Training Provided - Overtime Available - Free Parking

Are you ready to launch your career in welding and fabrication? We're working with a respected truck body manufacturer in Witham who are expanding their team and looking for motivated Trainee Welder Fabricators to join their growing workforce.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in welding and fabrication-whether through college, an apprenticeship, or hands-on experience-who's looking to gain practical skills in a real workshop environment.

Starting Rate: Competitive trainee pay
Location: Witham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Overtime: Paid at x1.33 weekdays and x1.5 Saturdays

What you'll be doing:

  • Assisting with MIG welding tasks under supervision

  • Learning to fabricate using various hand and power tools

  • Operating fabrication machinery

  • Developing your ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in welding and/or fabrication (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2 or above)

  • A genuine interest in hands-on engineering work

  • Previous workshop or mechanical experience is desirable

  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
