A rare opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer to join a well-established structural engineering consultancy in Oxford.

The successful structural engineer will have the opportunity to work on a range of bespoke residential projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and listed buildings. The role offers the chance to be involved in technically interesting work with a close-knit and supportive team.

Key responsibilities include

  • Structural design in timber, steel, concrete, and masonry
  • Preparing calculations and technical drawings
  • Liaising with architects, contractors, and clients
  • Attending design meetings and site visits as needed
  • Supporting project delivery from concept to completion


Requirements

  • Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 2+ years' experience in building structures (residential experience is beneficial)
  • Comfortable using structural design software
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Keen to work in a collaborative and detail-driven environment
