The Technical & Scientific Support (TSS) group within Clinical Affairs has a temporary contract opportunity for a Graduate Scientist I to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing scientific support and guidance to the global business.
This position is an excellent opportunity for a scientist seeking to focus on technical writing and the review of scientific literature and clinical evidence. The team's core focus is the timely delivery of key technical reports under MDR and IVDR regulations for ADC products-essential for CE marking and the sale of medical devices in the EU.
In addition, the TSS team collaborates with colleagues across key functions, including product registrations, reimbursement applications, tender submissions, and product evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct critical reviews of clinical evidence and scientific literature
- Write technical product summaries for ADC and competitor products
- Prepare Clinical Evaluation and Post-Market Clinical Follow-Up reports
- Support cross-functional teams through the provision of scientific data and insights
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Educated to degree level or higher in a scientific discipline
- Strong skills in critical thinking and technical/scientific writing
- Keen to develop further in data analysis, regulatory understanding, and scientific communication
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable collaborating with colleagues across UK and US business units
