As a Receiving/Unpacking Investigator, you will be responsible for processing returned medical products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and accurately documenting all findings. You will play a crucial role in supporting product investigations, working within a clean, organised, and high-tech medical manufacturing facility. What You’ll Do:

  • Process Returned Medical Products: Accurately receive, log, and record returned products in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

  • Unpacking & Inspection: Safely unpack returned medical devices, ensuring that all items are handled correctly and sorted efficiently.

  • Data Entry & Documentation: Maintain precise and detailed electronic records using company databases and quality management systems.

  • Compliance & Regulatory Support: Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and ISO standards to ensure all returned products are processed correctly.

  • Process Improvement: Assist in identifying areas for improvement in the returns and investigation process to enhance overall efficiency.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including laboratory staff, quality control specialists, and customer service teams, to facilitate investigations and provide necessary documentation.

  • Trend Analysis & Reporting: Identify trends in product returns and report key findings to senior management to support further investigation and corrective actions.

What You’ll Need:

  • Basic IT Skills: Ability to use computers for data entry, record-keeping, and inventory management.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow established procedures, accurately document findings, and ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Good Communication Skills: Ability to work with internal teams and maintain professional writtenand verbal communication.

  • Organisational Skills: Ability to manage returned items efficiently and prioritise workload effectively.

  • Education: Secondary education (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

  • Previous Experience (Beneficial but Not Required):

  • Experience in a laboratory, warehouse, or regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or ISO quality standards.

  • Familiarity with medical device handling, quality control, or stock management.
