This established and growing business is looking to add a part-time (30 hours / week) Bookkeeper to their finance team. You will have the opportunity to play a proactive role to ensure the continued success of the business by providing day-day financial support to the MD and owner. Working with a Head of Finance and a Credit Controller my client the Bookkeeper will bring experience and high standards to this growing SME.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • Reconciliation of bank statements and ensuring information is correct on Sage
  • Process and reconcile all monthly expenses
  • Submit VAT returns
  • Accurately record all customer transactions on the system

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AAT qualification preferred but not essential (you may be QBE)
  • Excellent knowledge of statutory responsibilities, deadlines and compliance
  • Good IT and systems knowledge to include Excel, Sage & Xero
  • Detail oriented and possessing strong communication skills

This is a 30 hour / week role and office based, my client is offering an annual salary of up to £32,000 (pro-rata) depending on experience.
