Salary Depending on Experience

Our client, a well-established engineering company based in Witney, is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work with high-precision components

CNC Machinist Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Set and operate CNC Turn/Mill machines and, occasionally, 4-axis horizontal mills
  • Run and prove out CNC programs
  • Carry out first-off and in-process inspections
  • Optimise machining processes to meet quality and productivity targets
  • Ensure work meets quality standards and production plans
  • Support material, tooling, and consumables control
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation
  • Perform daily/weekly machine maintenance and general housekeeping
  • Assist in other production tasks as required
  • Follow all health and safety procedures

CNC Machinist Ideal Candidate:

  • Have a HNC in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
  • Experienced in setting/operating multi-axis CNC machines
  • Skilled in machining duplex, carbon steels, and aluminium alloys
  • Confident reading technical drawings and using measuring equipment
  • Background in high-precision, production machining environments
  • Familiar with quality procedures and standards
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
  • Computer literate

CNC Machinist Working Hours and Benefits:

  • Monday - Thursday, 15:00 - 01:00
  • 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays
