The Role

We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable Medical Devices Support Technician to join our team in Sittingbourne. This role is essential for our operations, involving the direct handling and preparation of critical medical devices. You will be instrumental in ensuring our equipment and processes strictly meet both commercial and global/local compliance requirements.



Key Responsibilities

This is a hands-on role where you will be managing devices, supplies, and documentation. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Equipment Management: Precisely handling the receiving, packing, and decontamination of medical equipment.
  • Inventory & Stores: Maintaining optimal stock levels of consumables to support the team and ensure maximum throughput and efficiency.
  • Safety & Compliance: Upholding excellent housekeeping to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) / Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards, strictly adhering to all safety recommendations, including proper PPE usage, and contributing to safety assessments.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identifying and documenting potential improvements to processes and departmental documentation to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Flexibility & Support: Providing flexible support to other areas of the business when required and undertaking general departmental duties as assigned.
