Position; PRODUCTION OPERATIVE / LABOURER
Location; Witney
Salary; £12.75 per hour
Planet Recruitment have recently registered a new opportunity for our client based in the Witney area who are seeking a Production Operative. You will be involved in the manufacture of prestressed concrete flooring products which will include emptying, cleaning, setting and filling of long line steel moulds. This is a labour intensive, manual role that involves working outside predominantly, in all weather conditions.
Hours are Monday to Friday ranging from 40-45 hours. Please see below;
40hr week contract - 7am to 4pm - Mon to Fri
45hr week contract - Choice of 6am to 4pm or 7am to 5pm - Mon to Fri
Due to location it is recommend you have your own transport (car/motorbike).
Main responsibilities;
- Manual Handling / Lifting
- Knocking out dividing rubber formers
- Manually turning finished beams
- Measuring and setting the beds to a high level of accuracy
- Placement of concrete from truck mixer to moulds
- Vibrating and finishing concrete
- Covering beds with insulated bed covers
- Cutting of finished product
- Forklift Counterbalance Truck Operations
- Cleaning down of beds
- Cleaning of hand held tools and formers
- Cleaning of yard areas
Experience / Qualifications;
- Hardworking
- Physically fit and happy to lift heavy items on a daily basis
- Own transport
