We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning firm local to Witney who are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join their team.

About the RoleThey are looking for an experienced paraplanner with a passion for strategy. If you're excited by strategic thinking, client engagement, and building detailed, goal-driven financial plans, this is the role for you.This is not a report-writing role hidden behind spreadsheets and templates. You’ll be an integral part of the client planning process from the start, working closely with Financial Planners, contributing directly to strategy, attending client meetings, and helping shape life-changing outcomes for the clients.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Financial Planners to build tailored financial strategies and planning solutions.
  • Attend client meetings and help translate their goals into robust financial strategies and cashflow plans.
  • Carry out deep technical research, product analysis, and portfolio review work.
  • Prepare accurate and meaningful cashflow forecasts using Voyant, and help shape strategic recommendations.
  • Be a trusted point of contact for clients - answering questions, building relationships, and ensuring a seamless planning experience.
  • Working closely with the team to design smart, personalised plans as new clients come on board
  • Helping review work and giving helpful feedback to support junior team members
  • Work with our support team to ensure plans are implemented smoothly and efficiently.
  • Contribute to ongoing innovation and best-practice development within the planning team.

What They are Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years paraplanning experience with a track record of hands-on involvement in building client strategies.
  • Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent
  • In-depth technical knowledge across key planning areas - pensions, investments, tax, protection, estate planning, etc, with the ability to apply it to client scenarios
  • Competent in using cashflow modelling tools - ideally Voyant.
  • Excellent communicator - able to build rapport with clients and team members alike.
  • A sharp eye for detail, strong numeracy, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding advice and outcomes, not just outputs.
