Berry Recruitment is hiring! We require a Trainee Vinyl Liner Installer (Driver) to work for our client in Witney, Oxfordshire.

We are looking for a flexible and keen individual based near to our clients Head Office in Oxfordshire to attend sites across the country on a daily basis to install vinyl liners into swimming pools during the construction phase.

As a Trainee Vinyl Liner Installer (Driver), you will be responsible for handling, measuring, cutting, and installing vinyl liners to precise measurements, ensuring a high-quality finish through expert heat welding techniques.

Salary: £24,320

Location: National (field based)

Hours : Core hours 40 hour per week. (Daily travel required with some overnight stays required)

Start date: ASAP

About the role:

Your responsibilities will include ONCE TRAINED;

  • Handle, measure, cut, and install vinyl liners with precision.
  • Utilize handheld heat guns to heat weld and join vinyl.
  • Travel to sites across the country to install liners during pool construction phases.
  • Work collaboratively with experienced teams to meet project deadlines

The onsite lining teams, predominantly working in pairs, are a formidable and highly knowledgeable group. They are committed to supporting your role throughout the training process, facilitating the full development of your skills and knowledge and ensuring you feel instantly integrated into the team.

This role will be provided with a Company van as well as all the tools and equipment needed. The role will also receive full 1:1 training, spanning a minimum training period of 18 months.

About you:

  • Full Driving License essential.
  • Practical hands-on experience.
  • Previous experience in a roofing or construction environment would be beneficial.
  • Be extremely flexible in terms of overtime and working hours. (All overtime is paid at time and a half and overnight stays and evening meals covered by our expenses policy).
