We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher for a part-time, short-term role from January 2026 to February 2026.This opportunity is within a secondary school that fosters a respectful and inclusive learning environment. This is a no-planning position, ideal for a qualified teacher with experience, particularly those with a specialism in Biology.
Science Teacher Duties- Deliver engaging science lessons with a focus on Biology, using pre-prepared materials
- Support students in understanding key scientific concepts across KS3 and KS4
- Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment
- Follow school policies on behaviour, safeguarding, and assessment
- Provide feedback to the department on student engagement and progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and support for learners
Ideal Candidate – Science Teacher- Holds QTS and has experience teaching Science at the secondary level
- Specialism in Biology is an advantage
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Is confident delivering pre-planned lessons and adapting to different learner needs as a Science Teacher.
- Has excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
