Responsibilities:
- Leading the team - fostering a positive culture, managing performance, and driving productivity.
- Overseeing workshop scheduling - coordinating labour, materials, and procurement.
- Ensuring health & safety compliance - implementing processes and maintaining adherence.
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to streamline operations.
- Making proactive decisions and solving issues independently.
- Communicating effectively - reporting, giving feedback, and providing updates.
- Bringing industry expertise and hands-on experience to the role.
- Supporting production when needed, using your skilled cabinet-making background.
Requirements:
Must have:
- Strong leadership qualities
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to schedule and plan effectively
- Managerial experience
- Knowledgeable and experienced in a bespoke joinery or cabinet-making workshop
- Great collaborator
- Proactive and independent
- High-level cabinetry making experience
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings
Desirable:
- Experience in managing workshop H&S
- Understanding and experience of Lean Methodology and/or Kaizen
- Workshop procurement experience
- Excellent IT skills
Schedule:
- 40 hrs per week
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm

Salary:
45,000 - 55,000 per year
