Assistant Management Accountant Responsibilities:

Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts for the UK manufacturing base
Manage monthly accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and cashflow forecasting
Consolidate results from overseas subsidiaries (US, Europe, Asia)
Prepare monthly KPI and variance analysis reporting for management
Partner with operational teams to review margin, cost structures, and performance trends
Support group cashflow forecasting activities
Assist in preparation of VAT and other statutory returns
Support year-end audits and ensure financial data accuracy
Contribute to finance system and process improvement projects

What We’re Looking For:

Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
Proactive, forward-thinking attitude with good interpersonal skills
Experience working with large volumes of data and multi-entity reporting desirable
