Are you a driven and experienced account management professional looking to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a dynamic Account Manager to lead key client accounts, drive performance, and play a pivotal role in our continued growth.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a team, managing client relationships, optimising performance against KPIs, and ensuring delivery that exceeds expectations. You’ll also contribute to business development and long-term strategic planning that benefits both our clients and our business.

What You’ll Do

Client & Performance Management

  • Lead and grow client accounts with a strong focus on ROI and strategic performance.

  • Define and deliver against KPIs and performance goals, ensuring all activity aligns with client objectives.

  • Collaborate with Insight teams to refine strategies based on data and results.

  • Produce and present clear, impactful reports and strategic recommendations.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Inspire and lead a high-performing team with clear goals, coaching, and development plans.

  • Manage resourcing, recruitment and bonus structures to maintain consistent service levels.

  • Conduct regular team meetings, audits and development days to build engagement and capability.

Client Relationship Development

  • Build trusted, long-term partnerships with clients through regular reviews, planning sessions, and performance updates.

  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and strategic growth.

  • Work closely with client stakeholders to understand business goals and challenges.

Insight, Reporting & Strategy

  • Use internal tools and market insights to analyse performance and develop actionable plans.

  • Share case studies and success stories that demonstrate impact and promote best practices.

  • Represent the account in internal reviews and cross-functional meetings.

New Business & Innovation

  • Monitor industry trends and client needs to uncover new opportunities.

  • Conduct high-profile store visits and identify areas for strategic development.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and client-specific requirements.

  • Maintain accurate and timely data recording, invoicing, forecasting and budget management.

  • Keep oversight of equipment, audits and administrative duties.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in account management, ideally in retail, sales or client services.

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a track record of team performance.

  • Confident communicator and relationship-builder across all levels.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into insights.

  • Budget and financial management experience.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems and relevant tools like Global Connect or ShopLINK.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in retail, FMCG, or field sales environments.
