Position Title: EDS CAD Design Engineer
Duration: Contract
Location: Woking, Surrey
OUTSIDE IR35/Hybrid 3 days onsite.

About the company
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Whitley, who are seeking a EDS CAD Design Engineer to join their team
Essential Criteria:
- To support the Electrical Systems department with electrical wiring harness design.
- Proven experience 3-5 years as EDS Design Engineer for an OEM or Tier1 supplier
- Familiar with Wiring harness design, change management process, DFM, vehicle assembly process, 2D Drawings and vehicle electrical architecture
- Ability in troubleshooting, issues resolution, documentation and customer communication
- Receive and analyse customer data, requirements and progress with 3D design proposals
- Establish best WH routing and minimise quality risks
- Work with Project engineers and systems to complete full vehicle electrical wiring harness design
- Support digital and physical Design reviews, raise concerns and support issues resolution
- Lead 3D design freeze and gateway releases
- Complete all relevant documentation and reports
