We are seeking a temporary Tree Surgeon Assistant to join our team on an ad-hoc basis. This role involves supporting other team members and loading trees into a wood chipper. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain experience in this field.
Day-to-day of the role:- Assist the tree surgeon and other team members in various tasks.
- Load trees and debris into a wood chipper safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
- Help with the cleanup and maintenance of equipment.
- Provide support in various other tasks as needed to facilitate the team’s operations.
- Previous experience as a Tree Surgeon Assistant is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks.
- Good teamwork skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to work on an ad-hoc basis, often at short notice.
