- How to programme, set and operate a range of CNC lathes and milling machines (2, 3 & 4 axis)
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and route cards
- Working with various materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, brass and plastics
- Inspecting machined components using manual gauges and CMM equipment
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- A strong interest in engineering and CNC machining
- A hands-on attitude and willingness to learn
- Teamworking skills and good communication
- Ability to commit to both practical and classroom-based learning
- Ideally 18+ by September 2025
- Able to travel to both the client’s site near Woking and Farnborough College
- Proactive and enthusiastic about long-term development
- £15,704 annual salary (based on 2025 apprentice rates)
- Monthly production bonus (~3–4% of salary)
