Salary: 44,000 + O/T
Schedule: Monday to Friday, (earlies, normal & lates)
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a dedicated team on a large, static commercial site in Woking. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the headquarters of a well-known vehicle manufacturer, renowned for its participation in high-level motorsports. The role is client-facing and involves regular interactions with VIPs, requiring a professional and personable approach.
Key Responsibilities for a Maintenance Electrician:
- Conduct routine maintenance on emergency lighting systems.
- Perform water temperature checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) on Air Handling Units (AHUs).
- Monitor and maintain the Building Management System (BMS) for optimal performance.
- Undertake light plumbing tasks as needed.
- Walk up to 20,000 steps daily across the site, ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in client-facing situations, particularly when interacting with VIPs.
Experience required for a Maintenance Electrician:
- Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance electrician, ideally within a commercial or industrial environment.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of emergency lighting systems, AHUs, BMS, and general maintenance tasks. Basic plumbing skills are also desirable.
- Attributes: Physically fit, proactive, and able to manage a demanding workload. Excellent communication skills and a client-focused attitude are essential.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work across three rotating shifts.
