We are seeking an exceptionally organised and detail-oriented Administrator to take full responsibility for the planning, booking, and coordination of all dispatch activities in our clients busy organisation. This is a fast-paced, admin-intensive role requiring someone who thrives on structure, precision, and effective communication.
The Administrator positon:
- Plan and manage all outgoing deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Book and coordinate collections with specific carriers
- Prepare and process shipping documentation
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure readiness of goods for dispatch
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activity and carrier schedules
- Monitor and track shipments, addressing any delays or issues promptly
- Handle queries from couriers and freight providers
- General administration day to day
Skills & experience required:
- Proven experience in admin/operations role
- Ideally have worked within dispatch or goods in previously
- Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Strong multitasking ability and capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Outlook)
- Effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of the role
