Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Flat Roofing Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive costings across a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial schemes. While pitched roofing experience would be advantageous, it is not essential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed and accurate estimates for flat roofing projects.

• Analysing tender documentation and project specifications.

• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.

• Assessing labour, material, and time requirements to produce reliable cost plans.

• Working closely with the contracts team to ensure a smooth handover from estimating to project delivery.

• Carrying out site visits, surveys, and assessments where required.

Requirements

• Proven estimating experience within flat roofing.

• Strong technical knowledge of the following systems: Hotmelt, bituminous felt, single ply, and liquid waterproofing.

• Understanding of both traditional and specialist roofing systems.

• Confident in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

• Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
