Reed Education is on the lookout for a dynamic Deputy Headteacher to join our close-knit team in Woking. We’re an independent specialist school supporting students aged 11–17 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs — and we’re all about unlocking potential.

�? What You’ll Be Doing:

Leading the charge on both the educational and operational fronts of the school.
Teaching 50% of the time in your subject specialism (we’ll chat about this at interview).
Collaborating with a brilliant network of school leaders across the UK.
Building strong relationships with parents, carers, local authorities, and professionals to ensure every student thrives.
Supporting and guiding our amazing staff team, creating a culture of growth, support, and teamwork.

�? What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
At least 1 year in a senior leadership role in education.
A track record of delivering great (or outstanding!) teaching.
Excellent communication skills – written, spoken, and everything in between.
Experience working with SEMH students and managing challenging behaviours.
A creative approach to curriculum design that meets diverse learning needs.
