You’ll play a vital role in bridging R&D and production—helping take cutting-edge products from prototype through to scalable, cost-effective manufacturing.With a clear progression pathway into a Lead role, this is the perfect opportunity for someone with solid production engineering experience who’s ready to step up.?? What You’ll Do
  • Drive efficient production of new and existing electromechanical products.
  • Optimise manufacturing processes, jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
  • Lead cost-reduction and productivity improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with R&D, suppliers, and production to ensure design-for-manufacture excellence.
  • Create BOMs, work instructions, and support test system specification.
  • Coach junior engineers and deputise for the Head of Manufacturing Engineering.
�? What We’re Looking For
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience in high or medium-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of electromechanical assembly and testing.
  • Confident using SolidWorks and production line design tools.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 and quality tools like PFMEA, 6 Sigma, 8D.
