- Drive efficient production of new and existing electromechanical products.
- Optimise manufacturing processes, jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
- Lead cost-reduction and productivity improvement projects.
- Collaborate with R&D, suppliers, and production to ensure design-for-manufacture excellence.
- Create BOMs, work instructions, and support test system specification.
- Coach junior engineers and deputise for the Head of Manufacturing Engineering.
- Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience in high or medium-volume manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of electromechanical assembly and testing.
- Confident using SolidWorks and production line design tools.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement.
- Familiar with ISO 9001 and quality tools like PFMEA, 6 Sigma, 8D.
