Section Engineer - 3 Month intial contract - based in Woking

Our Client has a requirement for Section Engineer, who will be required to work on a Contract basis in Woking.

Location: Woking, A3 Nutberry Fruit Farm

Contract: 3 Months initial contract

IR35 Status: inside ir35

Required: 5 days per week on site

Hours: 50 hours per week

Project is highways they will be looking after the earthworks side of things

The role will focus on the technical and supervisory aspects of ground-related operations. In this context, they would:

Set out and manage excavation, filling, and grading operations.
Ensure works follow design levels, slopes, and compaction requirements.
Coordinate plant, materials, and haul routes to keep progress efficient.
Oversee testing (e.g. compaction tests, CBR tests).
Maintain health, safety, and environmental compliance (e.g. dust, drainage, stability).
Work closely with geotechnical engineers, planners, and foremen.
