New 12 Month Fixed Term Contract for an Accounts Assistant to join a fantastic business based in Woking!
Description
Generate and issue invoices daily/weekly/monthly
Process payments via bank, online portals, or remittance advice
Match incoming payments to outstanding invoices
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve short payments, disputes, or misallocations
Monitor aging reports and chase overdue accounts via phone and email
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment commitments
Update and maintain AR ledger in line with finance policies
Support month-end procedures with AR reports and reconciliations
Assist with credit checks and setting up new customer accounts
Liaise with internal departments on billing and payment issues
- May be working towards an accountancy degree
Profile
The successful candidate will have experience in the above and be on short notice.
