Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Drama Teacher to join our vibrant and creative performing arts department on a temporary basis, covering until the end of the summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Drama specialist to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
  • Deliver dynamic and inclusive lessons that encourage creativity and confidence
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with departmental and exam board expectations
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Contribute to the wider school community where possible, including extracurricular drama activities

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Drama in a UK secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Passion for the performing arts and ability to motivate students of all abilities
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
