We are seeking a skilled Inspector with PC-DMIS experience to join a prestigious motorsport client on a contract basis starting in January. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high-performance engineering environment, contributing to the quality assurance of precision components used in elite motorsport applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CMM machines using PC-DMIS software to inspect complex components.
- Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to verify dimensional accuracy.
- Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections of machined and assembled parts.
- Record and analyse measurement data, ensuring compliance with tight tolerances.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Inspector in a precision engineering or motorsport environment.
- Proficiency in PC-DMIS and CMM operation.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to read complex technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Desirable
- Experience with additional metrology tools (e.g., height gauges, micrometers, surface finish testers).
- Familiarity with ISO quality standards and documentation practices.
