We are seeking a skilled Inspector with PC-DMIS experience to join a prestigious motorsport client on a contract basis starting in January. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high-performance engineering environment, contributing to the quality assurance of precision components used in elite motorsport applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CMM machines using PC-DMIS software to inspect complex components.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to verify dimensional accuracy.
  • Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections of machined and assembled parts.
  • Record and analyse measurement data, ensuring compliance with tight tolerances.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Inspector in a precision engineering or motorsport environment.
  • Proficiency in PC-DMIS and CMM operation.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to read complex technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Desirable

  • Experience with additional metrology tools (e.g., height gauges, micrometers, surface finish testers).
  • Familiarity with ISO quality standards and documentation practices.
