An established school in Wokingham is seeking a reliable and highly organised School Administrator to support the Director of Finance and Operations in their role as Clerk to the Governors. This is a key role within the school, providing administrative support to both the Governing Body and the Leadership Team of a fantastic education setting in Wokingham.
This role will be working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm 38 weeks per year.
This is a permanent role that involves working full time (35 hours per week) for 38 weeks per year in total (term time, INSET, plus 3 additional weeks)

The salary for the School Administrator is 22,703 (26,831)

Key Responsibilities for the School Administrator role:
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of agendas, papers, and minutes for Governing Body and sub-committee meetings.
- Extensive diary management
- Maintain action trackers, registers, and records for Governors, including training and skills information.
- Organise and support induction and training programmes for new Governors.
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure Governors have access to IT systems and appropriate information.
- Provide administrative support to the Leadership Team, including safeguarding information, meeting support, and general office administration.
- Facilitate school events and building lettings, and maintain the Governing Body Year Planner.
Skills required for the School Administrator role are:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong diary management experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A level standard of education or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- Experience in a school or education environment is desirable but not essential.
