Junior Microbiology Team Leader

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver Research, Development, and Quality (RDQ) activities for new product development, portfolio maintenance, and productivity projects.

• Plan and execute projects in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and validation requirements.

• Conduct lab testing, data review, and validation activities to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Analyse and interpret technical data to draw clear conclusions and make actionable recommendations.

• Prepare detailed technical reports and maintain consumer-focused specifications that align with project goals.

What You Will Bring:

• A background in in a GMP Pharmaceutical Microbiology Environment with testing and data review responsibilities.
• Experience as a junior team leader, with people management background – experience as a line manager of at least 1-2 people.
• Experience of conducting 1:1s.
• Strong skills in data review and validation, with the ability to identify and implement solutions proactively and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including technical writing capabilities.
