Employee Relations Specialist - Permanent Opportunity Location: Wokingham (Hybrid) Salary: £45,000 per annum plus benefits 

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our clients dynamic HR team.

As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a harmonious workplace by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. You will work closely with management and staff to promote a positive work culture and enhance employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Develop and implement employee relations programs and initiatives to improve workplace morale and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, and provide training to staff on relevant topics.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to develop strategies for addressing employee performance and conduct issues.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations cases and actions taken.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in employee relations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
