Role Responsibilities

This is a hands-on tax role where you’ll be given real ownership over your work and the opportunity to contribute across compliance and advisory.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing corporation tax returns prepared by junior team members
  • Handling complex tax cases and preparing computations for larger or more technical clients when needed
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients and helping to build long-term relationships
  • Providing technical support and mentorship to trainees and junior staff
  • Assisting in the delivery of advisory work, with plenty of support as you build confidence in this space
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments to deliver joined-up client solutions

Candidate Requirements
  • CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified, with ideally 2+ years of post-qualification experience (strong newly qualified candidates will also be considered)
  • A solid background in corporate tax compliance within a UK practice environment
  • Previous experience reviewing the work of others and working directly with clients
  • Someone who enjoys contributing to a team and supporting the development of junior staff
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive, curious mindset and an interest in building advisory capability over time
