Role ResponsibilitiesThis is a hands-on tax role where you’ll be given real ownership over your work and the opportunity to contribute across compliance and advisory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing corporation tax returns prepared by junior team members
- Handling complex tax cases and preparing computations for larger or more technical clients when needed
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients and helping to build long-term relationships
- Providing technical support and mentorship to trainees and junior staff
- Assisting in the delivery of advisory work, with plenty of support as you build confidence in this space
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments to deliver joined-up client solutions
This is a full-time role based in the firm’s Wokingham office, working within a dedicated corporate tax team that blends Big 4 experience with homegrown expertise. Candidate Requirements- CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified, with ideally 2+ years of post-qualification experience (strong newly qualified candidates will also be considered)
- A solid background in corporate tax compliance within a UK practice environment
- Previous experience reviewing the work of others and working directly with clients
- Someone who enjoys contributing to a team and supporting the development of junior staff
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive, curious mindset and an interest in building advisory capability over time
- £60,000 to £75,000 per annum
