A progressive and inclusive SEN and SEMH school in Wokingham is seeking a Youth Mental Health Worker to support pupils aged 3 to 19 with a range of mental health and special educational needs. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity ideal for those looking to build a meaningful career in psychology, therapy, education, or social care.
You will be working with students with Autism, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, and behavioural challenges. As a Youth Mental Health Worker, you will provide 1:1 and small group interventions, support emotional regulation, and help create a calm and supportive learning environment.

- Salary: 89-100 per day
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
- Start Date: ASAP
- Age Group: Children and young people aged 3 to 19
- Ideal for: Psychology, Counselling, Criminology, or Education Graduates OR those passionate about children's mental health
As a Youth Mental Health Worker, you will help pupils engage in learning by providing structure, encouragement, and consistency and support pupils with their emotional wellbeing and mental health. Furthermore, you will assist with behaviour management and work closely with therapists and SEN staff.
This Youth Mental Health Worker role is a fantastic stepping stone for aspiring Therapists, Psychologists, Youth Workers, Teachers, or Social Workers.
