We're looking for an Assistant Finance Controller to join a dynamic team based in the vibrant brand new hub in Wolverhampton. This full-time, in-person role offers the perfect opportunity to elevate your career while making a real impact across a thriving business.
What You'll Be Doing:
As the Assistant Finance Controller, you'll be at the core of financial control and reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading month-end processes and preparing financial statements
- Ensuring compliance across operations, including US GAAP and SOX standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise financial processes
- Mentoring junior staff and fostering a high-performance culture
- Delivering insights that support data-driven decisions and drive improvement
What We're Looking For:
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience
- Solid understanding of financial controls, audits, and reporting frameworks
- Expertise in US GAAP and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A team player with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
