The Role – CNC Machinist
Join our leading aerospace client’s team in Wolverhampton and contribute to cutting-edge NPI projects.
As a CNC Machinist, you’ll play a key role in machining complex components for advanced aircraft systems, working in a collaborative and innovative environment.
This is a day shift role, likely moving to a Double-Day shift in the during 2026.
Duties – CNC Machinist
- Set up, operate, and manage a variety of Mazak CNC machines including mill/turncapability.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support NPI programs
- Conduct first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks
- Machine components to extremely tight tolerances.
- Select and optimize tooling and machining parameters
- Troubleshoot machining issues, adjusting programs or set-ups to maintain production quality and flow.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Background – CNC Machinist
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- CNC machining experience on various machines including Mazak
- In-depth knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and inspection methods
