- Shorterm Group is seeking multiple CNC Miller setter operators for an international aerospace component manufacturing company in Wolverhampton on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
- Candidates must have experience setting and operating Milling and Mill/turn machines such as Okuma, Mazak, DMG, Matsura, and Puma.
- The role requires the ability to read engineering drawings, perform first off inspections, and work to tight tolerances.
- An engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, such as HNC or NVQ level 3 in engineering/manufacturing/machining, is required.
- The position offers a 37-hour work week with a salary of £30,000 per year.
Role duties:
Set and operate Milling and Mill/turn machines
Read engineering drawings
Complete first off inspections
Machines:
Okuma, Mazak, DMG, Matsura and Puma
Requirements:
Ability to competently set and operate the above machines
Ability to perform first off inspections with manual inspection tools.
Work to tight tolerances reading from engineering drawings.
Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification e.g. HNC or NVQ level 3 in engineering/manufacturing/machining
Role details:
Shift: 37 hrs per week Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:15pm and Friday 7:30am to 11:30am.
Location: Wolverhampton
12 Month fixed term contract
