The company are recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to manage multiple projects across a variety of sites, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
The role is working within the company's successful Fire Protection department, based from the Wolverhampton offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage several contracts simultaneously from inception through to completion
- Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and direct labour teams
- Attend and lead contract meetings with clients and stakeholders
- Work closely with a dedicated administrator and experienced site supervisors to deliver industry-leading standards of quality and safety
- Manage site-based personnel, including involvement with HR matters and performance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, safety protocols, and project specifications
- Contribute to the company's continuous improvement initiatives and support a positive team culture
The successful candidate must have:
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
- Proven experience in a contracts management role within construction, refurbishment, or fire protection industries
- Experience working with both direct and subcontract labour
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of fire sealing and passive fire protection systems is beneficial
- A proactive attitude and willingness to grow with a forward-thinking company
The company offer a salary of up to 52k plus 5k car allowance, 10% performance related bonus, private healthcare, pension etc. aswell as the opportunity for future development and career progression.
