  • Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent).
  • Must have experience of delivering Vocational and/or Employability training.
  • Hold own Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths or GCSE equivalents. 
  • Must be IT Literate.
Duties include:
  • Delivering a range of vocational certificates including but not limited to: Health & Care, Hospitality, Customer Service and Admin and Functional Skills to Level 2.
  • Deliver engaging training to unemployed learners aged 19+ in a group setting.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Train, assess, motivate and support learners to develop personal and social skills to better prepare them for the working world and develop life skills. 
  • Undertake initial assessments for each learner and devise individual action plans to include SMART targets. 
  • Monitor student progress and engagement through regular assessment and reviews.
  • Ongoing development of schemes of work and lesson plans, implementing differentiation in teaching and learning.
