Customer Support Administrator

  • Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 p/a 

REED are supporting a national manufacturing company to recruit a Customer Support Administrator, where you will be the first line of contact for their customers, ensuring high-quality support and efficient handling of service requests. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in administration and customer service within a regulated industry.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage the triaging of the Service email inbox, directing and dealing with queries as necessary.
  • Answer incoming calls for the department, efficiently triaging calls for Regional Coordinators.
  • Open work orders for breakdown calls and chase Purchase orders from customers.
  • Handle customer requests for information such as RAMS, copy reports, etc.
  • Chase reports from engineers and liaise with Lead Engineers for remedial works.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to other team members, ensuring smooth departmental operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven administration capabilities with the ability to work to demanding deadlines.
  • Strong experience in customer service, preferably within a regulated industry.
  • Excellent communication skills across all media.
  • Self-motivated and a decisive problem solver.
  • Solution-oriented with strong analytical and Excel skills.
  • Experience in compliance and reporting is essential.
  • Previous training experience in a technical role is preferred.
