Customer Support Administrator

REED are supporting a national manufacturing company to recruit a Customer Support Administrator, where you will be the first line of contact for their customers, ensuring high-quality support and efficient handling of service requests. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in administration and customer service within a regulated industry.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage the triaging of the Service email inbox, directing and dealing with queries as necessary.
- Answer incoming calls for the department, efficiently triaging calls for Regional Coordinators.
- Open work orders for breakdown calls and chase Purchase orders from customers.
- Handle customer requests for information such as RAMS, copy reports, etc.
- Chase reports from engineers and liaise with Lead Engineers for remedial works.
- Provide ad-hoc support to other team members, ensuring smooth departmental operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven administration capabilities with the ability to work to demanding deadlines.
- Strong experience in customer service, preferably within a regulated industry.
- Excellent communication skills across all media.
- Self-motivated and a decisive problem solver.
- Solution-oriented with strong analytical and Excel skills.
- Experience in compliance and reporting is essential.
- Previous training experience in a technical role is preferred.
