Your new companyHays are supporting a large housing association who are looking to recruit for a Senior Data Reporting Analyst who will have 1 direct report into them.Your new roleThe Senior Reporting Data Analyst role is a key position within a growing finance function, focused on delivering high-quality, data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. This role combines advanced reporting and dashboard development with stakeholder collaboration, process improvement, and team leadership. It's ideal for a data-savvy professional with strong analytical skills, experience in tools like Power BI and Excel, and a passion for transforming complex data into actionable business intelligence. What you'll need to succeed

  • Advanced Reporting Skills: Ability to design, build, and maintain complex financial and operational reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI and Excel.
  • Strong Analytical Mindset: Capable of translating large, complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Leadership Potential: Experience or readiness to lead a small team, fostering a culture of learning, development, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Confident in collaborating with finance teams, business leaders, and data teams to understand needs and deliver tailored reporting solutions.
  • Process Improvement Focus: Proactive in identifying opportunities to streamline reporting processes and automate manual tasks.
