Electrician - Estates Maintenance | Wolverhampton | Competitive Salary + On-Call Allowance

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a large, well-established organisation in Wolverhampton that is looking to expand its Maintenance Team with the addition of experienced and qualified Electrician. This is a great opportunity to join a professional estates environment with varied responsibilities and long-term prospects.

The Role:
The successful Electrician will be reporting to the Technical Supervisor, you will carry out a range of electrical maintenance tasks across a diverse portfolio of buildings. This includes fault-finding, repairs, and modifications to electrical systems. Some cross-trade flexibility may be required, with relevant training provided where needed.

Key Duties:

  • Electrical maintenance, repairs, and alterations across multiple buildings
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently
  • Ensuring work complies with industry regulations and safety standards
  • Supporting the wider estates and building services operations

Requirements:

  • A completed apprenticeship or equivalent recognised training in electrical installation
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
  • City & Guilds 2360 Part 2 or approved equivalent
  • Completion of a recognised course covering BS7671: 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (with current amendments)
  • Post-apprenticeship experience with proven competency
  • Full UK driving licence (own transport may be required for out-of-hours work)

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working in commercial or industrial settings
  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Inspection and Testing qualifications
  • First Aid certification (training will be provided if needed)

This role includes participation in an on-call rota, So the successful electrician will be expected to work this rota.
