- Collaborate with divisions, depots and stores to oversee stock activities, including movements, wastage, and balances, ensuring accurate reporting and proactive management through investigation and action planning.
- Assist with stock initiatives such as "clear through" projects and assess their impact on future stock holdings.
- Manage daily, weekly, and periodic reconciliations of stock movements and transactions within Business Central (Finance System)
- Understand and support the indirect (supplier) income processes across all Trading Categories, including weekly and periodic forecasting.
- Analyse supplier data to identify trends and provide insightful reports to inform strategic decision-making.
- Manage supplier income data by streamlining data sources and delivering regular and ad-hoc financial performance reports by supplier, trading controller, and income type.
- Play an integral role in the end-to-end Finance process, with a clear understanding of the key drivers behind stock and supplier income performance.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects and tasks related to stock and supplier income, supporting the broader performance objectives of divisions.
- Experience in stock and supplier income accounting (likely from manufacturing, distribution or retail sectors)
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve system-related issues.
- Confident in presenting findings and analysis clearly to the Senior Leadership Team.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to take the lead when needed.
