On an exclusive basis, greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a no.1 Finance Manager to work with a growing SME business in Wolverhampton.

This is a full time, on site role and will report into the MD.

Duties of the role will include:

  • Taking full responsibility of the finance function

  • Building and managing a team

  • Production of monthly management accounts including commentary and analysis

  • Control of the Budgeting and Forecasting process

  • Monitoring financial performance

  • Producing timely and accurate management information

  • Cashflow forecasting

  • Financial Reporting

  • Ensuring robust Balance sheet controls

  • VAT returns

  • Payroll management

  • Continuous improvement of internal processes and controls

  • Ad hoc project work and involvement in future strategy of the business

  • Liaising with internal & external stakeholders

  • Production of Weekly P&L / Key KPIs sheet

  • Business partnering with the operational teams

Skills, requirements, qualifications

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE

  • Experience of working in an SME business

  • Strong hands-on experience

  • Strong Excel & ERP experience
