Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver audit/accounts assignments in conjunction with the client partner.
  • Lead large and complex assignments, showcasing your expertise.
  • Supervise junior staff during audits and review their work for accuracy.
  • Deliver audit files to the partner in a timely manner.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and potential management letter points.
  • Manage client communication effectively, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Monitor your chargeability and assignment budgets proactively.
  • Coach other staff for improved performance and technical development.
  • Develop specialist sector knowledge and stay abreast of industry developments.
  • Mentor audit & accounts trainees, contributing to their training and development.

What We're Looking For:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with previous experience in external audit or as an Accounts Manager for an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of audit and accountancy practices.
  • Excellent client relationship management and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
