Geoenvironmental Consultant - Wolverhampton - 32,000

An independent environmental and engineering consultancy is looking to recruit a Geoenvironmental Consultant to support a steady pipeline of work in Wolverhampton. The role would suit someone with a solid grounding in contaminated land and ground investigation who is commutable to Wolverhampton and keen to work on varied development-led projects.

The successful Geoenvironmental consultant will have the opportunity to join a well-established, medium-sized consultancy operating across the UK, providing geoenvironmental, geotechnical and remediation services to developers, contractors and public-sector clients.

The role:
You will be involved in Phase 1 desk studies and Phase 2 site investigations, supervising ground investigations and logging soils and groundwater. Responsibilities also include interpreting laboratory results, carrying out risk assessments, and producing clear, concise technical reports. There will be regular client and contractor liaison, with the opportunity to gain wider project management experience over time.

Essential criteria:
