Are you a compassionate and experienced Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Dunbar Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wolverhampton, who are seeking a dedicated SEND TA to join their supportive team.

About the Role:
  • Position: SEND Teaching Assistant (Level 3)

  • Location: Wolverhampton

  • Start Date: Immediate/ASAP

  • Contract: Full-time, long-term (potential for permanent)

  • Hours: Term-time only

  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEND

  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCPs and support plans

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

  • Use a range of strategies to manage behaviour and promote engagement

About You:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Experience supporting children with a range of SEND (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH)

  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Committed to the development and well-being of every child
