Immediate Start Receptionist / Facilities Assistant - Wolverhampton

Hourly Rate: 12.80

Job Type: Temporary role for 3 months

Our client is seeking an experienced receptionist to join their team in Wolverhampton. As the first point of contact for the company, the receptionist will be responsible for providing a professional and friendly welcome to clients and visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Manage and maintain the reception area to ensure a tidy and welcoming environment.
  • Answer and forward incoming calls in a polite and efficient manner.
  • Screen incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or person.
  • Book meetings and appointments for internal staff and external clients.
  • Arrange couriers for packages and documents as needed.
  • Set up and prepare meeting rooms, including arranging furniture, equipment, and refreshments
  • Monitor and replenish kitchen and office supplies (tea, coffee, stationery, etc.)
  • Help with basic on-site administrative and facilities-related tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a corporate receptionist or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanour.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative software.
  • Must be able to start immediately.
