We are excited to be partnering with a respected organisation in the public sector to recruit a HR Business Partner to join their collaborative and forward-thinking HR team.

This is a permanent role offering a mix of strategic and operational HR work. You'll be a key partner to senior leadership across multiple directorates - including overseeing complex people matters.

Description

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to align HR strategy with business goals
  • Lead on organisational design and workforce planning
  • Drive forward staff engagement, performance, and capability development
  • Support with complex employee relations cases and workforce change
  • Influence and embed EDI and culture change across directorates
  • Provide trusted advice on talent, resourcing, performance, and structure
  • Contribute to organisation-wide HR projects and policy development

Profile

  • CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience) - essential
  • Experience working in Higher Education and/or NHS preferred
  • Would consider Public Sector candidates
  • Strong background in complex employee relations, change management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Confident in leading and coaching senior managers through transformation and cultural change
  • High levels of emotional intelligence, political awareness, and resilience
  • Experience in working within unionised and complex environments
