Qualifications and Experience

All Management and Supervisory employees will be willing to demonstrate personal abilities to GCSE level/HNC or City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent Standard. The Company recognises that this may not necessarily involve academic qualifications, but may be demonstrated in work experience and past/current performance achievements. Proven experience in maintaining machinery in a high volume production environment, is however, essential.

Experience in problem solving and programming on the following

  • TIA portal
  • Wincc
  • Wincc 7.5 Scada
  • Logix 5, 500, Studio 5000
  • Switch Management Industrial/general
  • Siemens Scalance
  • ABB, Siemens, Nidec Inverter drives
  • Profisafe
  • Cad/Visio drawing software

Main Functional Responsibilities

  • To maintain all Operations Technologynetwork system requirements on site
  • Maintain backups and security of assets
  • To ensure all necessary data recording and feedback is completed.
  • To take the lead role in the initiative process, including identifying improvement opportunities and seeing them through to implementation.
  • Experience working with Siemens PLCTIA, Step7, HMI,Scada, AB PLC, HMI AC inverters DC drives
