Occupational Therapist - Aids and Adaptations | Wolverhampton
Rate: 28.40 per hour
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP

Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join the Aids and Adaptations Team in Wolverhampton.

We are seeking a fully qualified Occupational Therapist with proven experience in aids and adaptations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and practical experience of assessing, planning, and prescribing major adaptations to support service users in maintaining their independence and safety within their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake assessments for equipment, aids, and home adaptations in line with statutory requirements.

Prescribe and recommend major adaptations, including structural changes, in accordance with housing and health & safety standards.

Work collaboratively with service users, carers, contractors, and other professionals to deliver effective solutions.

Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centred care and support plans.

Maintain accurate and timely case records.

Requirements:

Fully qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.

Experience working within aids and adaptations services.

Essential experience in planning and prescribing major adaptations.

Excellent communication and assessment skills.

Ability to manage a varied caseload and work autonomously.
