Join a leading name in precision manufacturing, as we continue to grow and invest in quality. We’re currently seeking a skilled and detail-focused Quality Inspector to support our inspection team in delivering to the highest standards.
About the Role
As a Quality Inspector, you’ll be responsible for carrying out both manual and CMM-based inspections to ensure components meet customer and engineering specifications. You’ll work with a variety of measuring equipment and use the Wenzel CNC CMM system with Metrosoft software to perform detailed part inspections.
This is a hands-on inspection role, ideal for someone experienced in engineering or manufacturing quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CMM machines using Metrosoft software for detailed component inspection.
- Use manual inspection tools including thread gauges, gap gauges, micrometers, callipers, etc.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
- Support quality assurance across production processes.
- (Desirable): Perform visual weld inspections – prior experience is an advantage, but not essential.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Proficient in CMM inspection, ideally using Wenzel CNC machines with Metrosoft.
- Skilled in the use of standard inspection tools and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
